‘90s teen idol the Griffin is up the ‘Creek’ on ‘The Masked Singer’ country night
The beloved actor and his fans were singing the "Varsity Blues" when he narrowly missed making the Season 13 semifinals.
Wednesday was Grand Ole Opry Night for The Masked Singer Season 13 Group B finals, and everyone was crying in their beers when fan favorite the Griffin sadly flew home. He had just dedicated his feather-ruffling, heartstring-tugging performance of the late John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” to his wife and kids, explaining that they had recently received some tragic “news that changed everything” and had been through “a really tough year,” but they had “been able to face this challenge together.”
“I would not have gotten through this without them,” Griffin said of his devoted family. “They’ve stood beside me through it all. They’re my safe space.”
