An unprecedented victory made for a historic finale that Nick Cannon declared "the most legendary episode ever.”
It was the end of the road for Season 12 of The Masked Singer on Wednesday’s festive grand finale, and Wednesday was one sweet day for the Buffalos.
The horned, hooved harmonizers made Masked Singer history, when the Motownphilly residents became the first group to ever win the series — pulling off what past talented duos, trios, and quintets like the Snow Owls (Clint Black and Lisa Hartman), Russian Dolls (Hanson), Banana Split (Katharine McPhee and David Foster), Queen Cobras (En Vogue), Lambs (Wilson Phillips), California Roll (Pentatonix), and Beets (Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken) surprisingly did not. Host Nick Cannon actually declared this historic finale “the most legendary episode ever.”
Still, it was so hard to say goodbye to yesterday for the Buffalos’ worthy winged opponent, the Wasp, who had to hover in second place.
