Mystery solved! ‘Masked Singer’ Season 13’s Nessy is ‘90s love song rocker
Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg bizarrely thought this elusive gentle giant was Uncle Kracker, but Robin Thicke recognized Nessy's voice from one of the biggest monster ballads of all time.
“You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show,” Nessy warbled Wednesday, on The Masked Singer Season 13’s top five episode. But even though the night’s result was decided by the closest margin in Masked Singer history — less than 1 per cent, according to host Nick Cannon — the judges and voting studio audience ultimately could not agree on one good reason for him to stay.
Ken Jeong had even declared this gentle giant’s Lady Gaga cover his “most open and vulnerable and authentic” performance yet, and Rita Ora had been “lost in that performance” and “heard the tears in his voice,” but at the night’s end, while Nessy did not quit, he was still eliminated.
