Returning Season 21 reject Camyrn Brooks breaks down after getting a four-chair turn this time.

The Voice Blind Auditions continued apace Monday with Season 26’s fifth episode, and at the very end of the night, we got a classic comeback story that was perfect television.

Twenty-four-year-old Camryn Brooks first tried out in Season 21, when the coaches were Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Ariana Grande, and she was so nervous that her shaky cover of Adele’s “Hometown Glory” failed to impress. “When no one turned, it was the most gut-wrenching feeling ever,” the returning Camryn confessed this week, even though Ariana had urged her “please come back” at that time.
