‘The Voice’ Season 26 semifinals: Live at first Sting

With only one week to go before NBC crowns (and then probably swiftly discards) its 26th The Voice champion, the show finally went live this Monday with the top eight semifinals. This meant the top eight only had one chance to compete for America’s votes in order to make it to next week’s top five finale. (Please allow me to mention once again how much I hate the show’s current truncated format.) So, the stakes were high.

And then the semifinalists had to do Police/Sting duets… with the actual Sting onstage with them, accompanying them on bass! No pressure, then.
